Bingo!

Wooohoooo! We won a new job!!!

We're doing design and construction for an office located at the penthouse of Manila's tallest building. High ceilings, great view. :) :) :)

We have had hardly any sleep since Friday last week because we had to rush revisions and update costs and schedules for our proposal, and I've been a bundle of nerves because they were supposed to call us for a meeting to discuss details Tuesday and they didn't call. I thought we had lost the bid, and couldn't sleep in peace. My heart was so sad.

We'd been working hard on the bid since September last year....and it was a great potential project with a lot of design potential.

They called today and told us we got the project. Holy crap I could have wept. Instead I said "Thank you. We are really pleased to be working with you."

But after I put the phone down, I yelled "Shiyettttt! We got it!!!" and hopped around like an idiot.

Sometimes I really really love my job.
