The Other Side of Kitty Rescue

I have just spent the past hour cleaning shit, wiping piss, changing paper liners, taking dirty toys out, washing the toys, returning the toys, feeding, watering, scraping left over goo (that I don't want to analyse) off the cage rails, making temporary litter boxes, filling boxes with kitty litter, scratching and playing with the cats a bit, and returning them to their cages.

I think my cat-capture elation has waned a bit. I wonder if new parents feel this way sometimes.
