Kitty Update

We've caught Cutie and Ugly!

My officemate and I have been hanging around the roof ledge and feeding them from there these past 3 nights. Cutie was much more trusting as he would start going near my hand for some scratching. Ugly was still very wary, and it was quite hard for us (me especially) as I had to stand outside on the ledge for long periods of time with my hand on the roof and the bag of kitty litter between my teeth (the other hand was busy hanging on to the roof edge so I wouldn't fall).

We finally caught Ugly this afternoon. My officemate swiped her as she was eating. Cutie just got caught so he is now with his sister in the cage we bought for them.

I don't think they're very happy right now as they are in a cage which we half covered in newspapers (for privacy). And I don't think Othercat is happy either as she is probably searching for them right now. But really, this is for the best.

We'll keep them in the cage until they get used to seeing our 2 office cats, then we'll alternate keeping them and the 2 office cats in the cage. That way, the 3 new cats get used to the office surroundings.

My dad is buying another cage for Othercat tomorrow so we'll try to get her in the evening. Hopefully the Other family will be reunited soon.

Next to do for the kitties:

• Buy new bowls
• Buy collars
• Buy kitty litter box
• Spay / Neuter
• Vaccinations
• Introduce to Wibs and Junior
  

And it looks like Othercat is giving birth soon too. Haay.

We've got Othercat as well.

She's in 1 cage, and Ugly and Cutie are together in another cage right beside hers. I don't think she likes being in a cage, but we still have to socialize them. I feel so relieved :)
