So Sad

I was in Tagaytay today to do a site inspection of one of our projects, a headhouse in a flower farm. The farm is home to an assortment of cats, dogs, and chickens, and I was just thinking how lucky the animals were to have so much space to stroll and play in.

We had finished selecting and assigning paint colors and we were leaving to have lunch prior to going back to Manila. We were in 2 pickup trucks.

The contractor's driver ran over one of the dogs and I saw the poor dog yelping in agony as he skittered away. He keeled over shortly and died.

Fuck.

What got me even more was that the contractor found out that they had run over and killed this poor dog while we were on the South Superhighway headed back to Manila. And he said it was a good thing the dog was just a mongrel and not a purebred dog.

Fucker.

I am so upset I cannot sleep :(
